Texas Rangers Legend Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez Commits to Play in Third Annual Invited Celebrity Classic
Tickets are now on sale for the Las Colinas tournament, as presenting sponsor Choctaw Casinos & Resorts also renews its commitment to the event
IRVING, Texas (November 15, 2023) – The Invited Celebrity Classic presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts announced today that National Baseball Hall of Famer, Texas Rangers legend and 13-time Gold Glove winner Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez has committed to play in its 2024 event, scheduled for April 15-21, at the Las Colinas Country Club. The event, now entering its third year, pairs legendary golfers from the PGA TOUR Champions with celebrities from sports, music, and entertainment for a unique three day, 54-hole competition. Additionally, 10 Invited Clubs Members will have the opportunity to qualify and compete in this event.

The Invited Celebrity Classic is a PGA TOUR Champions event, featuring a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions players (age 50 and older), celebrities, and 10 Invited Members. The tournament’s economic impact is estimated at nearly $3 million for the greater Dallas area. Additionally, in its first two years, the event has generated approximately $500,000 in charitable donations for local organizations. In 2024, the tournament will once again benefit the following children’s non-profit organizations: Momentous Institute, the First Tee Greater Dallas, and First Tee Fort Worth.

Located right in the middle of the action (behind 18 green), The Choctaw Club is the life of the party featuring a live DJ, dancing, casino games, premium lunch, afternoon snacks, and an all-inclusive full bar service. Tickets to the Choctaw Club are $350 per day.
New in 2024, a Stockyard Hospitality ticket allows fans access to multiple locations highlighting the best views that Las Colinas Country Club has to offer, including 9 Green, and the Clubhouse Ballroom. These tickets are $150 per day or $425 for a weekly ticket.
The Invited Celebrity Classic is operated by Mike Flaskey Entertainment. Flaskey, former CEO of Diamond Resorts International, has extensive experience conceiving and overseeing top-tier golf events with both the LPGA Tour and PGA TOUR Champions, plus All-Stars and Hall of Famers from NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL teams.
